2. EXCURSION/FIELD WORK FOR STUDENTS:
According to our university course curriculum mathematics department does have an excursion or field study programme. In 2013 our department organized an excursion to Delhi and Nainital. In this excursion some students from Physics department also accompanied with us. Our college canteen owner also went with us.
The whole programme was sponsored by teachers and students and canteen owner. Further for the students of 4th semester, our department always organize field study trip for Environmental Studies with nominal funding from
college authority.
3. SEMINAR/POPULAR TALKS AMONG STUDENTS:
Every year our students prepare a wall magazine specially on mathematical topics but from 2016 onward, we are planning to include other topics.

6. TOTAL STRENGTH OF DEPARTMENTAL LIBRARY:
A library for Major students of Mathematics Dept., in memory of Late Dr. Narendra Nath Bhagowati was inaugurated by Retired Principal N. N. Keot sir on 03-04-2017. Mr. Alakesh Roy, Librarian, Morigaon College and Mr. Debabrata Sarma, Associate Professor, Chemistry Dept. were also present in the ceremony of inauguration.

One Telescope.

2 classroom and a Computer Laboratory excluding the sitting room.
